21 Positive Thoughts To Plant During Your Intro Lessons

Plant these 21 positive thoughts during your introductory lessons and your enrollment percentage will soar!  New students will think at some point “Can I succeed at this?”  “Can I do it?”  Here are 21 (partial list) of the positive thoughts you should plant and they should think after their first lessons.

Here they are, a rather incredible list of transforming thoughts that lays the groundwork for successful enrollments, raving fans and long term relationships.  It starts with I CAN….

1. I CAN DO THIS!

2.  I can block

3.  I can kick

4. I can punch

5. I can escape a wrist grab

6. I can break a board

7. I earned my white belt

8. I give and get respect

9. I get credit for listening at home, school and here.

10. I get help, encouragement and support as I need it.

11. I received a good job call and/or a good job note from my instructor

12. This is fun

13. I can bring a friend

14. I feel good about myself

15. I can use verbal skills

16. Elbow and knee strikes are powerful

17. I am being encouraged every step of the way

18. I can get in top shape

19. I am getting important tools to defend myself

20. I am learning common sense safety rules

21. I CAN APPLY THIS SELF CONFIDENCE TO WHATEVER I DO AND WHEREVER I GO

Remember these are changes that will last a lifetime and as teachers we are helping our students meet challenges short and long term.
